Also, did I mention I freebased an egg this morning? Dude. Peter had this fried egg wrapped up in foil in the fridge, and after I finished heating my pita bread up on the range, I figured I’d just toss that egg right on, still on the foil. I can see how junkies get into the ritual–the sound of that sizzle, of the cold butter quick heating back up to a bubble and pop, and the solid egg yolk starting to melt and run… Such anticipation. Which lasted about ten seconds, and then I realized that my egg was doomed if I didn’t yank it and slap it on my pita bread. Not a consciousness-changing high, but a pretty good way to start the day.
