Just in case I come off as a food prude from that last post, I can say I’ve got nothing against “the ‘Luther Burger,’ a bacon-cheeseburger served on a Krispy Kreme doughnut bun”–as mentioned in a NY Times story on how bad Southern food is for you. Killjoys. There’s nothing wrong with cornbread slathered in butter, or even frying in a little lard.
